    Colin Manankil is a staff accountant at L&H Business Consulting, LLC, where he supports a wide range of clients by providing audit, accounting, and financial reporting services. Colin brings a strong foundation in accounting principles, data analysis, and client service, and he is committed to delivering accurate, high-quality work while continuing to develop his expertise in the field.

    Colin began his professional journey with L&H Business Consulting as an intern, gaining valuable hands-on experience from 2018 through 2024 before transitioning to a full-time role in May 2025. During this time, he contributed to the firm’s assurance and accounting engagements by optimizing data workflows in Excel, digitizing and organizing client documentation to enhance accessibility, and assisting with key audit and reporting tasks. His early experience gave him a comprehensive understanding of the firm’s operations and a client-focused approach to problem solving.

    Before entering public accounting, Colin worked at the W. Dale Brougher Foundation YMCA, where he assisted members throughout the enrollment process and provided a high level of customer support. This role helped refine his interpersonal communication skills and taught him the importance of building strong client relationships which are skills he now applies daily in his accounting work.

    Colin earned his Bachelor of Arts in Accounting from Lycoming College, where he was an active member of the varsity lacrosse and club powerlifting teams. His involvement in competitive athletics taught him discipline, teamwork, and resilience, qualities that continue to shape his professional approach. He is passionate about advancing his career in public accounting and is particularly interested in expanding his knowledge in audit, assurance, and advisory services.

    Education

    Bachelor of Arts in Accounting – Lycoming College (2025).

    Currently completing additional coursework part-time at the Community College of Baltimore County to fulfill the 150-credit requirement for CPA licensure, with plans to begin CPA exam preparation in May 2026.
